This presentation takes some of the more complicated topics and offers them as choices that attendees can pick for the session.
Even with all the different options for self-service Business Intelligence, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) remains a popular reporting tool in application development environments. This presentation takes some of the more complicated topics and offers them as choices that attendees can pick for the session. I'll show more than a dozen different topics and let you select which topics to cover. Everything from sparklines to heat maps, from Tablix-drilldown reports to advanced charts, from performance gauges to subreport/drilldown reports to new page/group control features in R2....and even topics like data-driven subscriptions, reports against OLAP cubes, and deploying to SharePoint. Since no presentation can cover all the topics, the majority of the audience will decide which to cover.
You will learn:
- About advanced SSRS features "in action", as implemented in actual SSRS client applications
- The implementation of mass-automated report delivery of data driven subscriptions in SSRS (and also see .NET code used in SSIS scripts for customized delivery of reports)
- A general understanding of Microsoft's current and future offerings for SSRS in the Cloud
