Microservices architecture is the current evolution of application and enterprise architecture that takes the principles we remember from service-oriented architecture applies them more discretely. When you apply microservices architecture patterns and principles you produce a solution design that is decoupled, with highly cohesive services that comprise the full stack including data back-end. The architecture is typically decoupled from the detailed design and implementation strategy - but ultimately decisions must be made for that implementation strategy. This session will focus on the ways you can leverage Azure PaaS features in combination with containerization strategies to implement microservice-based solutions. Topics will include Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Instances, Azure Functions, Event Hubs, Event Grid, CosmosDB and other related features - and where they may fit best and compose together.
